This project is questioning how product design can express a message to raise awareness or provoke debate about world hunger issues especially after earthquake in Haiti. The poorest haitians cannot afford food and so they are left with nothing to eat but the mud cookies that do not contain enough nutrition but manage to keep Haiti's poor alive and fill their stomachs.
These cookies could symbolize the sadness of hunger. Using these cookies' shape and making process to develop a tableware, can contain the story of Haiti and be a tool for sharing the story when they can share food together.
Thesis project for BA at Central Saint Martins.
